What is the Law School Admission Test comprised of?

The LSAT is a half-day standardized test which measures the reasoning and reading skills of law school applicants. There are five multiple-choice sections and one ungraded essay section. The multiple-choice sections consist of 2 logical reasoning sections, 1 logic games section, 1 reading comprehension section, and 1 unscored section that contains experimental questions. You are given 35 minutes to complete each section.

When is the Law School Admission Test offered?

The four annual LSAT administrations take place in February, June, either late September or early October, and in December.

Does the LSAC offer the Law School Admission Test in my city?

To find the test center closest to you, visit the testing locations page on the LSAC website. There you can download a list of every published LSAT test center. Please note that some test centers may not be open for every test date.
