TestMasters LSAT Course Reviews

Antonio Raimundo | UCLA Before TestMasters 157 After TestMasters 170

“TestMasters is a solid, well-executed, and professional program. On my first practice LSAT, I got a 157. On the real thing, two months later, I got a 170. I would not have increased my score by that much if it weren’t for the TestMasters program. My advice for people who are going to take the LSAT and enroll in TestMasters to prepare for it is the following:

1. Take it as seriously as you can. I say ‘as you can’ because not everyone can dedicate the same amount of time to studying for the LSAT. I was lucky because I was unemployed and my girlfriend was away for 2 months — I literally had nothing to do but study for the exam. I know a lot of other people had jobs or school to contend with, and that eats up a lot of time. Give as much time as you can to studying — you owe it to yourself to do as well as you can on this exam as you are capable of. The LSAT is a big, big deal and your score on it matters.

2. Focus on what you need to work on. Part of what got me a high score was focusing on the things I found toughest and skipping other material that I didn’t have as many problems with. With a more prudent timeline (my 2 months to prepare for the LSAT was cutting it close), it is better to study everything TestMasters throws at you. But in reality, most people don’t have that kind of time.

3. On test day, as Robin Singh said, you’ve got to work harder than you’ve ever worked before. Plain as it may sound, that advice helped me on the day of the test. You’ve really got to show up.

Hope this helps!”

Timothy Chan | Cal State Northridge Before TestMasters 148 After TestMasters 163

“My score after the initial diagnostic test was 148. Needless to say, I was pretty discouraged. However, after putting the work in and doing almost every single problem in the curriculum, I was able to score a 163 on test day! My instructor, Jeff Benjamin, contributed greatly to my success and 15-point increase. He asked the right questions that helped the students find the logical answer for themselves, and I believe that this extra assistance was invaluable for scoring well on the LSAT. If I had to start over from the beginning, I would sign up and take TestMasters again without any hesitation. Thank you Testmasters and Jeff!”

Carl Hudson | USC Before TestMasters 157 After TestMasters 172

“When I scored a 157 on my first LSAT diagnostic test, I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to bring my score up enough to give me a realistic shot at admission at the top U.S. law schools. Thankfully, the TestMasters self-paced online course allowed me study for the LSAT at my own pace, while still giving me the comprehensive review of the test I needed to succeed. Even with a busy internship schedule during the summer, and a busy course schedule during the fall, the self-paced course allowed to me hone my skills a little each day, as opposed to a traditional LSAT class that would not have worked for me. The video, audio, and written explanations were extremely helpful, and ensured that, even though I took a self-paced course, I received the instruction I needed to do well on test day. By working through the well-structured lessons, homework, and diagnostics over a period of roughly three months, I was able to raise my score 15 points to a 172. I highly recommend this version of TestMasters to anyone who has a busy schedule, but still wants to achieve a high score on the LSAT.”

Devon Frankel | Cal State Northridge Before TestMasters 147 After TestMasters 158

“While the LSAT isn’t an exam that you can directly memorize, TestMasters gave me a comprehensive look at all the different types of questions, preparing me to spot patterns when I was deconstructing arguments. TestMasters has a huge variety of material with insighful and practical advice for understanding each type of prompt. My score went up more than I could have imagined and I have TestMasters to thank for it.”
